Presented by ventureLAB.
Do you want to understand why inventors are so secretive about their patents? Would you be surprised to learn that some types of IP are automatically protected as soon as they’re created? Did you know that open source doesn’t always mean free for the taking?
If you’re interested in learning more about these topics and more, join Josée Pharand, ventureLAB’s Director of IP Programs and Policies, to learn about patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyright, open source and industrial designs. Josée will also cover IP essentials that every inventor should know and will demonstrate how various types of IP can work together to provide the broadest possible protection.
